Lidy, a reliable platform that stands out among dozens of options, helps its users stay in control of their money with its website that is both mobile and web compatible.
Lidy’s process
While entering the Turkish Fintech Ecosystem, Lidy wanted to serve its users by creating a new web platform. At this stage, they wanted to create a high performance and SEO efficient web portal using new web technologies. While Lidy's tech team chose modern web technologies to build the portal, they added Contentrain to their tech stack as a flexible, standalone CMS that's easy for the marketing team to use.
Why did they choose Contentrain?
The Lidy team chose Contentrain due to its easy integration into development processes and ease of use in content management processes.
Creating a Flexible Content Model:
Contentrain's no-code content modeling tool provided Lidy's technology team create the content schemas they needed without hassle. Since the created content models can be saved and reused whenever desired, this feature provided the team with great flexibility and saved time while creating the project.
This method allowed Lidy to save the content models that they used in the test environment and then use them for production. Lidy technology team was able to easily create the content diagrams required for the project in a structured way. Thanks to the created content schemas, the Content team had the authority to create and edit the content they wanted without the need for developers.
Easy Integration:
In today’s fast-paced digital world, the project tapped into the capabilities of Next.js, a popular and modern Static Site Generator (SSG) Frontend framework.
The heart of the project’s success was how easily the Lidy technology team connected content models from Contentrain with the Frontend. They used simple queries, and the process was smooth because they didn’t need any special SD Key.
This direct approach not only sped up their development time but also made a big difference in the project's return on investment (ROI). With the integration part sorted out quickly, their team could spend more time on refining other important parts of the project. It’s this combination of Next.js and Contentrain that made the project a great example of efficient and effective web development.
Granular Roles and Permissions:
Lidy's content team, a dynamic group of about 10, was bustling with content creators and creative minds. In a large group like this, managing a content team can often lead to tangled workflows and tricky content production processes. But Contentrain's Granular User Role system made a difference for the Lidy marketing team to manage their content production process.
Granular Roles let them set up different roles and permissions, so everyone on the team could handle their tasks without stepping on each other's process.
With Contentrain's user-friendly interfaces, the Lidy content team can easily dive into creating and editing content without any developer support.
Lidy Tech stack
One of the important decisions in Lidy's digital journey was choosing the right web technology for their projects. After conducting an in-depth exploration of various modern web technologies, they decided to opt for Static Site Generation (SSG) technology. This choice became the key to elevating their projects to the next level.
Once Lidy decided to use SSG frameworks, they selected Next.js as their Frontend framework. Next.js, with its blend of flexibility and power, was a perfect match for Lidy's needs. Choosing Vercel for publishing their website was a step that completely aligned with their vision of a high-performance and elegant website.
However, the truly exciting part begins here. To create the content models they need and manage the website content with their large content team, they chose Contentrain as their Headless CMS. This was like having a reliable assistant in their digital adventure, simplifying what seemed like a daunting task.
The primary reason for choosing SSG technology was to take advantage of fast page loading times and to enhance performance by distributing their project via CDN. By achieving high SEO performance, they began to climb in Google search results. For Lidy, this was not just about building a website, it was about creating an experience that stood out in both performance and presence
